My main takeaway from Genesis 41-42:
Instead of nursing a grudge against his brothers during all his years of slavery and imprisonment, Joseph nurtured his relationship with God. Because of his genuine relationship with God, God used Joseph to bless countless people.
My prayer:
Lord, when I'm tempted to hold a grudge, give me the humility to trust you to handle justice so that I can desire God's best for those who hurt me. Open my eyes to the depth of your love for me and for others, so that there is no room for grudges in my heart.
