I've never experienced the kind of extreme hardships Job has faced (everything he owned was destroyed, all of his children were killed, and he's in constant pain because his entire body is covered in boils), but I've been tempted not to trust God in the hardships I have faced. God can stand up to our questions, but He is not obligated to explain everything to us fully. He wants us to trust Him whether or not we understand His purpose, plan and perspective. We can always trust His motives, power and wisdom because He is always good, always wise and sovereign over all.
