Satisfaction in Autonomy

According to Oxford Languages, the definition of autonomy is: "the right or condition of self-government".


Judges 17:6 (ESV) says, "In those days there was no king in Israel. Everyone did what was right in his own eyes."


The western mindset is to celebrate autonomy, but God says autonomy is imprisonment and leads to death. (Romans 6:12-23)


Jesus said that whoever loses his life for Jesus' sake will find it (Matthew 10:39, 16:25; Luke 9:24-25, 17:33; Mark 8:35-37; John 12:25; Revelation 2:10). He also promises abundant life to those who follow Him (John 10:10)
