We come to God not based on what we've done for Him or how good we are compared to others. We come to God freely based on His mercy and grace. That's good news!

Hebrews 4:16 (NIV) "Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need."
